Here are several of the most frequently asked questions about the non-medical services provided by Sostek Home Care. This is not a complete list of questions you might have and we welcome you to call us with any that are not answered here.
Q: How do we select caregivers?
A: In general, caregivers are personally referred to us. We do not place ads in the paper. Our Director gives each caregiver an extensive personal interview to determine if they are appropriate to deliver the high standard of care Sostek Home Care has been know to provide for almost 50 years. If they pass the interview phase, then we do a CORI background check and then an extensive reference check before we refer them to a job.
Q: Can I meet and interview caregiver before I hire them?
A: Yes. In fact, you can interview more than one if you would like. And, you'll have peace of mind knowing that everyone we present will be pre-interviewed and CORI checked. We put our many years of experience to work for you to ensure a successful Homecare experience, If you're not competely satisfied, just let us know. We will present another caregiver to you...that's our guarantee.
Q: What happens if my caregiver is sick or cannot come to me?
A: We will make sure that a replacement ready for you as quickly as possible. We strive to provide seamless coverage and we have a team of caregivers available to go out as needed.
Q: Why should I use Sostek Home Care instead of hiring someone on my own?
A: We are your personal Homecare facilitators. That means you have our experience and resources at hand but you are always in control. Our Care Coordinators assist you through every step of the process...and it's a secure feeling knowing we are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to manage any last minute scheduling emergency.
