Placement Coordinator

Summary: The Placement Coordinator is responsible for identifying, qualifying and placing the appropriate caregivers with our clients. You will also be responsible for maintaining and facilitating the quality assurance program, client condition update program, recruitment and reference checking. The Placement Coordinator reports to the Home Care Team Leader. Your specific responsibilities in your role as Placement Coordinator include, but are not limited to:

  • Participate in "morning duty"; retrieving messages and fulfilling all related activities
  • Prioritize and manage your daily activities in an efficient manner
  • Participate in phone screens and fulfill all related activity
  • Greet interviewees and give them the appropriate paperwork to fill out, assist when necessary and fulfill all related activity
  • Participate in the screening of inquiries, doing intakes for potential maternity and geriatric clients and fulfill all related activity
  • Participate in sending out reservations forms, PR info, confirmation letters, time sheets, billing, reference checks, generals correspondence, etc., and fulfill all related activity
  • Participate in selection and placement of caregivers and fulfill all related activity
  • Provide client service to satisfy client needs in a timely fashion both in the office and when on the pager
  • Participate in client condition updates, QA monitoring, availability updates, etc, and all related activities
  • Manage all aspects of database information in all areas of Home Care system in a thorough, accurate and timely manner
  • Participate in the on-call weekend coverage rotation schedule and weeknights as assigned
  • Give directions to caregivers utilizing public transportation schedules and road maps
